Looking to push your atlas stone PB?

Our R&D relating to our atlas stone mix is always ongoing. Our current mix has been engineer designed for optimum compressive strength (hardness), shock absorbing ability and weather resistance.

However, we’ve recently been playing with with the atlas stone concrete mix and have formulated a secondary mix which will enable us to go significantly heavier without increasing the volume (size) of the atlas stones themselves.

What does this mean? Well, the big stones (22-24″) are awkward, especially for smaller guys and girls. The larger size obviously increases the actual weight, but the perceived weight of the big atlas stones is compounded by the fact that athletes with smaller, or shorter, arms struggle to get a decent grip right underneath.

Our new mix means we will be able to nearly double 😳 the mass of the atlas stones while keeping their existing diameter. Also great for space saving.

We’re just finalising the pricing for these “double king heavy” atlas stones as well as carrying out some field (drop) tests of our current prototype.
